WINNIPEG MAN ARRESTED FOR STEALING WOMAN’S BAG AND PULLING GUN ON LOCAL CONCERNED JOURNALIST WHO WAS TRYING TO HELP.
Appearing via video from the TBPS Station on Bamoral in Bail Courtroom 104 is 42 year old VINCENT THACKER EDWARD CURRIE. He appears to be average height wearing a brownish jacket. He has long straight black hair past his shoulders and has dark skin.
CURRIE is facing 8 charges from yesterday morning when it’s alleged that he was stealing a woman’s bag across the street from the courthouse when a local Real Concerned journalist decided to be a good Samaritan and intervene to prevent the theft. Another citizen also saw what was happening and attempted to help as well. It’s alleged that CURRIE pulled out an handgun and threatened to kill the 2 males who were trying to help.
TBPS Officers responded very rapidly and arrested CURRIE with what’s alleged to be an imitation handgun.
Justice of the Peace Anna Gibbon is presiding along with Crown Attorney Piera Pasloski. Duty Counsel Andrew Desmoulin is here as well. Inside Edition sources indicate that CURRIE will be retaining George Joseph once his Legal Aid certificate gets approved.
CURRIE is facing 8 charges.

Crown Attorney Pasloski is refusing to consent to CURRIE’S release on primary, secondary and tertiary grounds
NO MENTION YET OF CURRIE’S GLADUE FACTORS.
CURRIE IS ORDERED NOT TO CONTACT ANY OF HIS VICTIMS.
CURRIE is being transported to the Thunder Bay Jail and will make another video appearance from the Thunder Bay Jail on Friday October 12,2018.
