(VIDEO) Violent Incident Unfolds At Water Street Bus Station – Bus Stop Brawl

(THUNDER BAY, ON) – A REAL Concerned Citizen has reported to us that a violent incident has occurred at the Water Street bus station shortly before 4:00 pm late this afternoon. Our source tells us that the altercation involved multiple people being assaulted.

An eyewitness report tells us that a man was having an altercation with another male, striking each other. The witness then attempted to break up the violence by stepping in between the two and calming things down.

One of the males at this point started screaming inaudible noises and stormed off. At this point, he went and started another fight with another male. A 911 call was made which had Thunder Bay Police Service and Superior North EMS respond to the scene.

The male had also spit on one of his victims during one of the altercations. A man in a high-visibility vest can be seen in the video attempting to break up the second incident. Police removed the violent male from the bus station. The man could be overheard blaming a brain injury for his actions.

Police most likely took the male down to either the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre to be assessed, or down to the Thunder Bay Police Service located on Balmoral. If anyone has any information regarding this incident, they are asked to contact the Thunder Bay Police Service at 807-684-1200.

  1. Sickly but what are you supposed to do now that LPH is gone and St.Joes is booked solid? I sure hope my room is still reserved because this city starting to drive me bonker!

  2. unfortunately, this is a daily thing in this town, especially at the bus depots, it just usually don’t get reported…
these drunk people (of all races) are a huge pain in the ass and a danger to anyone who has to take the bus.
    something needs to be done…
