(THUNDER BAY, ON) – The people who predict the weather have told us that snow is in the forecast for Thunder Bay and other communities surrounding the north side of Lake Superior.

The snow is expected to start falling around 11:00 pm this evening, and continue for up to 24 hours. The hardest hit areas will be on the eastern side of Lake Superior with amounts expected nearing 20cm.

Thunder Bay is estimated to get roughly 7 to 8cm of snowfall, although your mileage may vary.

In the map depicted below, you can see where the snowfall is expected to touch the ground.

Be prepared to drive a little slower to your destinations tomorrow, and please be safe. Let’s aim for a collision free day.

  1. Possible hidden news that red river road and expressway is being dug up because of a possible problem created by the contractors from butcher project. Waters been pouring up from red river road and all along butcher for over a week?
