(OPINION) – I am unapologetically a rapist. I’ve engaged in consensual sexual activity with another person when one or both of us had been drinking, and I don’t feel guilty.

You are a rapist too if you have done the same with someone under the influence of alcohol or drugs–even if that person was into it or initiated it.

So wives, next time your husband has been drinking and initiates sex, if you don’t want to be a rapist like me, decline your husband and tell him that the government has made it illegal to have sex with him unless he’s sober.

Likewise, wives and girlfriends who have sex with your partner before getting affirmative consent every. single. time. you have sex or even change positions, you are rapists too.

I know, I know. The people who pushed for these laws are also the same people who claim that the government has no place in our bedrooms. And it kind of seems like the seriousness of rape is now being watered down, but I digress.

My name is Desley and I am a rapist.

  1. Its true.. if everybody is a victim, then life itself is criminal.

Watering down words to garner sympathy only devalues the actual offense (if it even can still be called an offence in the first place?)

I can think of another word that’s been thrown around at so many people now its lost its effectiveness, and that word is “racist” In fact usually the biggest racist is the one that first brings it up as an accusation. So I’ll wear my “racist” hat proudly, and now perhaps according to this letter I might be a rapist too?

Wow, plus Im a beautiful White Male.. I must be the most hated member of society nowadays. That’s ok, I’ll happily wear that hat too!

    1. Can you explain the ways in which, as a white man you are the most hated in society? You seem a bit hysterical and prone to exaggeration.

    2. Helen, without going too much in depth, Ill refer you to a recent column by Ann Coulter regarding the Kavanaugh insanity..

There is a large list of quotes from new agencies showing how the White man’s opinion is somewhat less valued than any others.

As for everything else… look at any job application.. show me one where it says “white able bodied heterosexual males are encouraged to apply”. I guarantee I can easily find a dozen that say “people of a visible minority, first nations, or disabled people are encouraged to apply”.

Its not hysterics or exaggeration at all. Just be fair to yourself and open your eyes. You constantly see women screaming that there should be more women in politics, more women in the trades, more women in the courts, etc… Try saying that about men. Try saying that about White Men. You will be labelled a white supremacist in seconds flat. You see all sorts of groups of women for women something or another… show me some mens groups openly promoted in the media or similar. Sure you will find exceptions to the rules on both sides but its widespread bias.

Don’t get me started on the imaginary male/female wage gap! That’s complete nonsense too!

    1. Well Walter, just on the part where you said you don’t see, able bodied white men are encouraged to apply, is because it was hard to find places that would hire a person with disabilities or are native. It still is. People already know that any able bodied white man can go and apply for the job. They wouldn’t get rejected by the way you look

  2. SOME FUN FACTS: Here’s Christine Ford’s timeline: 1982 – Something may or may not have happened with another 2 (or 4) teenagers at a party, she cannot remember who threw the party, where the party was held, who she was with or how she got home. She was drinking and said nothing to anyone. 1983, 1984, 1985, 1986, 1987, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002 – she said nothing. July 25, 2003: President George W. Bush nominated Kavanaugh to the United States Court of Appeals for the D.C Circuit – she said nothing. 2004, 2005 – she said nothing. May 11, 2006: The United States Senate Committee on the Judiciary recommended confirmation. Kavanaugh subsequently confirmed by the United States Senate – she said nothing. June 1, 2006: Kavanaugh sworn in by Justice Anthony Kennedy – she said nothing. 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 – she said nothing. 2012 She vaguely remembers ‘something’ may have happened in 1982, yet doesn’t name Kavanaugh and still said nothing to authorities. 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 – becomes an anti-trump activist. 2018 – now 36 years later, with Kavanaugh’s SCOTUS confirmation looming, she pens an anonymous letter with grave accusations against Kavanaugh regarding foggy circumstance that occurred while they were both minors, then reveals herself and DEMANDS an FBI investigation before testifying to her incredible allegations

    1. Excellent Bubba!

What a load of BS Ford is spewing, nothing but character assassination for political gain. Shes a nutjob plain and simple.

    2. Bubba ..your dates/times are vague and not true..Do your homework..She remembers 100% it was Kav..She had told her therapist years before his nomination about what KAV did to her.His out of clontrol anger showed his true temperamt..He avoided ever answering questions about hos e4xcesses drinking.

    3. Dominic, my FACTs are based solely on facts that were brought up at the hearing. They are TRUE.

Nothing she mentioned has been proven – who she mentioned it to and when.
It’s funny how you say she knew it was 100% Kav, yet she doesn’t remember where it was, when it happened, who she was with, and what instigated the alleged rape. Here’s more fun facts that just came out that I didn’t write about. The timeline she gave when she THINKS the rape took place was when she was 15. YET, in her sworn testimony she remembers driving home after the date in question. How could she drive home when legally she wasn’t able to?

    4. Bubba, no, she stated numerous times that she was only 15 and therefore NOT able to drive herself to or from the party because she did not have her license yet. It pays to listen.

  3. You’re not completely correct. Intoxicated people can consent. If your wife had you charged with sexual assault it would be up to a judge to determine her capacity to consent.

The judge would look into factors such as amount of alcohol consumed, whether she lost consciousness (people must be cake to withdraw cincaemr at any point, etc. .

That said, there is no legal measure, currently, to determine how drunk is too drunk to consent.

If you’re unable, or unwilling, to refrain from sex when your partner is intoxicated, you should examine your life. If getting affirmative consent is such a burden for you, likewise, you should ask yourself why that is the case.

  4. Wtf?
Dude. Consent is consent. If a person can’t consent then you need to deal with the fact that you need to keep your penis in your pants… PERIOD.

    1. completely agree, 99% of wemon these days have ither been raped, taken advantage of when drunk or sexually assulted in some way,
i am a man, and i believe society has changed some of us into animals.. no woman nor anyone for that matter should be put in that situation..
