(THUNDER BAY, ON) – There were many citizens reporting to us recently about a police presence on Ogden not long ago.
Speculation in the neighbourhood was that a fight likely broke out and that someone was possibly stabbed or cut. We have information that comes from multiple people who were in the house that demand to remain anonymous about what they say unfolded. That account of what happened is below.
A woman came to the home, and was looking to purchase “down”. The home had “purple down” available. “Down” is street slang for heroin, fentanyl, or any similar “downer”. You can read more about “purple down” in the article we have pinned at the end of this article.
The woman consumed some of the “purple down” product and shortly after became unresponsive and urinated herself. She overdosed and people in the home became alarmed.
The decision was made to move her body outside of the home, “so that she wouldn’t die inside”. There was a lot of commotion and panic as people were dragging the woman out of the home, which is probably what led the residents in the area to believe a fight likely happened.
The woman died of the overdose. Police questioned everyone that was inside the home, and it is believed that the people inside the home were not able to keep their stories straight.
The story that was supposed to be fed to the cops was that the woman showed up drunk, and passed out at the back door.
Police held the scene for some time, and the forensics unit was seen by area residents at the scene.
This home is not run by any out of town gang members.
