(THUNDER BAY, ON) – Multiple anonymous tipsters in the Northwood neighbourhood have informed us that the power has been cut and that a man has been severely electrocuted.

It has not been determined how yet, but the male and the tree became electrified and resulted in the male being electrocuted and suspended in the tree for about 20 minutes.

Onlookers were in horror watching the man begin to smoke as numerous 911 calls were made. The male was revived by first responders and has been sent to hospital for further treatment. He is expected to have severe burns on his body. Whether he will survive or not is uncertain at this point.

Hydro has cut power to the area once they were informed of the situation. People are being asked to avoid the area so that first responders can work quickly and safely. Hydro says that about 1000 to 1500 customers are impacted by the power outage but expect service back on by 1:00 pm.

    1. Real classy Marge. A guy gets electrocuted and you try and make a joke. At least you are smart enough not to use your real name.

    2. A human being is fighting to survive and suffering the most excruciating pain imaginable and you make a ignorant comment. There is absolutely no humor related to this.
      Try a little compassion.

  1. Dude this guy is a friend and is in the icu in Toronto. Not something to joke about. He’s fighting for his life and the first thing you say is “shocking news”. Think before you speak.
