(THUNDER BAY, ON) – A north side intersection in a residential neighbourhood had been the location of a small flood.
City crews were dispatched to the intersection of Frankwood and Faircrest overnight to begin working on the situation.
Residents in the area tell TRCCTB.COM that water had spread all over the intersection and down Frankwood in a southern direction. The water also spread slightly down Faircrest but not to the extent that Frankwood was flooded.
The area has since been cleaned up with sanding put down on the ice.
This is the second flooding issue in the past 24 hours, with the flooding in Northwood being a much more significant issue.
The intersection of Edward and Redwood flooded last night and spread to a substantial area around the intersection.
