History, article dated November 30th, 2019:

(THUNDER BAY, ON) – On June 9th, 2019, the LCBO located in the Thunder Centre, fell victim to a needle-point robbery. Officers responded to the scene and immediately conducted an investigation.

As a result of that investigation, officers arrested 31-year-old Samantha Bennett-Dolph and charged her with the robbery. She was released with a future court date. When her future court date came and went, she is alleged to have failed to appear in court. She was arrested for that and then allegedly missed another court date on October 8th, 2019. A warrant for her arrest was issued that day by the sitting Justice (judge).

Yesterday, Friday, November 29th, 2019, Bennett-Dolph was located and the warrant for her arrest was executed. She appeared in a Thunder Bay courtroom this morning via video link from the Thunder Bay Police Service (TBPS) station located at 1200 Balmoral Street.

Presiding over court this morning is the detail-focused Justice of the Peace Bruce Leaman, along with Crown Attorney Derrick “The HAMMER” Silvestro and two very clever duty counsel lawyers, Emily Morris and Brennan Sacevich. Bennett-Dolph is facing the following charges:

  • Robbery (Needle-point LCBO heist).
  • Failing to appear in court x2.

The Crown smashes Bennett-Dolph’s dream of being released today with The HAMMER! He tells the court that Bennett-Dolph is in a reverse-onus situation and they intend to put her to that onus! A reverse-onus situation means that Bennett-Dolph will have to convince the courts why she should be released.

Duty counsel requests that the matter returns to court on Monday. The time between now and then is expected to be used crafting a bail plan which might convince the courts that Bennett-Dolph is good to release.

Bennett-Dolph is going to spend the next couple nights at the Thunder Bay Correctional Centre before her possible release on Monday.

  1. That picture gives me the creeps. She looks demented.

This is one very troubled person. Likely a chronic drug addict and career welfare scammer. At 5’5″ and 90 lbs. she’s probably fried on meth. Another lost Dumpster Bay zombie.

  2. Very crafty.
    But sew predictable.
    This timeline is like scrapbooking.
Or, trying to paste events together in a collage like fashion.
    Petit- point-less to flea.
She should take up embroidery instead.
    Knit your own life together

  3. She is 31 years old?!?!?!?! She could EASILY pass for 43-45. Clearly this woman is making amazing life choices and should keep up the good work, as I’m sure she is on some kind of government assistance. That being said the sooner she checks out the sooner WE no longer have to pay. So live it up while you can and enjoy the splendor of life and all the gifts it has to offer 😁.

  4. Wow you people are so compassionate, she is actually a beautiful smart caring individual who unfortunately has fallen into drugs. Is that all you can do is degrade the ones who have become addicts. Dol you think they enjoy the lifestyle they are living why not ask them instead of treating them like crap.Look how many young have died..My heart goes out to the loved ones .To all stay strong .
