GUNSHOTS RING: Egan Street Crack House


(THUNDER BAY, ON) – Our newsdesk has been hit with numerous tips regarding gunshots going off.

A north side neighbourhood heard gunshots going off around 9:45pm this evening.


The gunshots were heard along Egan Street between Cumberland and Court. Neighbours in the area were quick to point to the notorious crack house in the area.

We are uncertain at this point if anyone was injured during this incident.

UPDATE: Police responded to a residence on Egan Street and checked for a victim with a gunshot wound. No victim was located and they cleared the scene.   1. This town is going down.

    If authorities don’t do something very substantial and very soon, there will be anarchy. It’s on the verge of that now. It’s only a matter of time before innocent bystanders and children get caught in the crossfire.

    Police should be given extra authority (martial law) for a few months or a year to take back this city from the gangs and criminals who have infested it.

  2. If they were given extra authority to clear out drug houses they would all have to go for more sensitivity training as there might be the odd non caucasian person. With all the gangs from eastern Ontario it would not be an easy job. It is an awesome idea but there would be a lot of complaining going on.
