WOMAN ALLEGEDLY DRIVING DRUNK AT HIGH SPEED CALLS IN FALSE WEAPONS CALL TO 911
Appearing this morning, Boxing Day, Wednesday December 26,2018 via video from the TBPS Station in Courtroom 104 is 23 year old NICOLE DEPERRY-ROBINSON.
It’s W.A.S.H. (Weekend And Statutory Holiday) Court today. His Worship, Marcel Donio is presiding. Provincial Crown Katrina Van Kessel is here along with Duty Counsel Lianne Roberge.
The court hears allegations that DEPERRY-ROBINSON was spotted driving last evening at over 100km/h in a 40 km/h zone when she was spotted by a TBPS officer who attempted to pull her over. She allegedly refused to pull over for police and actively tried to evade.
Further allegations include that DEPERRY-ROBINSON unable to evade the TBPS then used her cell phone to call 911 and report a fabricated weapons incident at Newfie’s Pub in an effort to get police to leave her alone. That effort failed. She ultimately pulled over and was arrested. It’s alleged she blew .190 and .180 on the breathalyzer.
DEPERRY-ROBINSON is facing several charges of operate while impaired, operate over.080 and public mischief.
The Crown agrees to release her from custody on an undertaking to go reside at her home in the 700 block of South Norah Street.
DEPERRY-ROBINSON has a future court date of January 22,2018 at 1:30pm.
As per usual practice, no media release from the Director of Communications at TBPS to notify the public of the hard work the TBPS Officers do. His position might as well be called Overpaid Lazy Soy Boy.
