Double Robbery Arrests at the Landmark


(THUNDER BAY, ON) – lThunder Bay Police Service officers were dispatched to a hotel in the 1000 block of Dawson Road just after 12:30 a.m. on Thursday, February. 28 following reports of a robbery that had just occurred. (Landmark)

Officers arrived and reviewed surveillance footage linked to the complaint.

Through the course of their investigation officers identified two accused individuals who assaulted the male victim in a hallway. Two females intervened to stop that assault from continuing.

The victim returned to his room, where he was later assaulted again by the previously identified accused individuals.

Police later found property belonging to the victim in the room of the two accused individuals.

The victim suffered non-life threatening facial injuries as a result of this incident.

21-year-old Nolan Sinclair Okeese (pictured left), of Longlac, ON, and 20-year-old Randy Raymond Richard TIBISHKOGIJIG (pictured right), of Thunder Bay, ON, have both been charged with:

  • Robbery.

Both accused appeared in court Thursday morning and were remanded into custody with a future date.
