(THUNDER BAY, ON) – On Saturday, November 30th, 2019, members of the Thunder Bay Police Service and Superior North EMS responded to a call in the 1000 block of Simpson Street regarding a 43-year-old deceased male.
Upon arrival and completion of a preliminary assessment, it was determined that a male was indeed deceased and had been for quite some time.
Estimates by investigative officials pin-point the time of death around Monday, November 25th, 2019.
Even more disturbing is that the same day it is believed this man died, suspected Toronto gang members were seen leaving his unit. An Indigenous woman was seen leaving in a panic and during her hasteful movements, ended up breaking his key off in the door.
Worse yet, between Monday and when he was discovered on Saturday, numerous people were seen entering and exiting the home. All of these people failed to report the death of the 43-year-old male. Sometime, during the week the man spent deceased in the unit, someone put his keys back in his pocket as police located them there after the woman broke one off in the door after his death.
