There are no serious injuries to report at this time. What we have heard is that it was an older gentleman who was driving and isn’t quite sure how he ended up on the snow bank.

This was a single-vehicle collision.

  1. Wasn’t sure how he ended up there?
Time to revoke his license I fear.

Was in a parking lot one day and another elderly gentleman decided to ram his vehicle into the side of mine. It must of confused him because he did it 3 more times until he realized what the hell he was doing.

    1. Awe that’s sad. sorry about your vehicle and also sorry for the older people that have to give up what they have been doing for years. Sad to say their are so many elderly people out driving when clearly they shouldn’t. If you have an elderly person in your family and is driving, may I suggest you really try get them off the roads. For there own safety and the safety of others.

  2. Hopefully he realizes he should give up driving and hands over his licence.

About a 2 months ago my Dad hit the gas instead of the brake and drove into the garage door. That gave him enough of a scare that he decided to hand over his licence. He was a very good driver up until about 6 months ago, then he started to become nervous while driving. He’ll be 96 in a couple of months.

    1. Hey rob, yes it’s hard, it’s independence, hurts the pride but best for your dad and other drivers/pedestrians. Your dad is leading by a great example, more should follow

  3. Weird……i seen a car up on the snowbank on Arthur st by mckellar hospital on my way home from work at 5:10 pm

  4. Speaking about elderly,
There was a old woman driving down algoma yesterday with her purse sitting on her trunk.
Luckily a good person jumped out of their vehicle at the lights and got the woman’s attention. He handed her, her purse off the back of her car and jumped back in his Jeep.
    Quite the gentleman.
