An alleged robbery occurred at the Victoria Ave Barb’s Laundromat location on March 20th, 2018.
Appearing in WASH (Weekend And Statutory Holiday) court today was Alvin OKeese. Justice of the Peace Zelda Kitchekeesik presiding, with Jane Ann McGill as Crown Attorney and Lianne Roberge as Duty Counsel.
This is a crown onus situation due to OKeese having no current outstanding charges or conditions of release. The crown is concerned about the release of OKeese based on secondary grounds, which means the safety of the public could be at risk.
After some short discussions, OKeese is remanded into custody for a future court date.
