(THUNDER BAY,ONT) – Thunder Bay Police Service are searching for a male after an alleged attempted abduction of a woman at Confederation College Tuesday morning.

The incident occurred between 9:45 am and 11:09am when a student was invited to come with the man. After she declined the man attempted to grab her,  but the woman escaped then ran to the college in seek of help.

Police describe the suspect as a non-white male, with a beard and black hair, black eyes, sporting a tattoo on his right forearm.

The male had a light-coloured sweater and dark pants on.

This happened on the concrete walk path inbetween the “F” parking lot  and the main entrance to the Shuniah Building.

Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed this incident or may have information regarding the suspect to contact the Thunder Bay Police at 684-1200 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or www.p3tips.com.

Police are urging all members of the public to be aware of their personal safety and surroundings at all times.

This is the second alleged attempted abduction in the last few weeks.
