(THUNDER BAY, ONT) – Another attempted abduction attempt has been reported in our city, this time it was a child in the Mary/Sprague area of town who is lucky to have escaped.
We received information from a REAL Concerned citizen who would like to remain anonymous for now but wants the word out as fast as possible. Below is what they sent to us.
“June 12 approx 3:55pm:
My 10-year-old son was out walking the dog around our home (max 4 houses away) and a man in a white SUV tried to get him to come into his vehicle.
Followed him into the laneway and around the block, trying again to get him to approach the vehicle. Took off up the street when kiddo ran up to our house.
He said it was a newish GMC and there was a skeleton sticker in the top left corner of the rear window. There also appeared to be a tattered child seat in the back.
The man was maybe 30’s, shaved head with brown hair growing in, light skin, and big eyebrows. Sprague/Mary area.
He’s shaken but did a great job getting a description while running home with the dog. A police report has been filed but sharing as a reminder to parents in our area to remind kids to be careful”
