(THUNDER BAY, ON) -The pit bull/ shar-pei mix that fatally mauled a Pomeranian/Pekingese dog named Molly last month, is facing the death penalty.

Animal services are headed to court to ask that the animal be destroyed, according to our source.

Molly’s owner never wanted for the dog to be destroyed, as she told TRCCTB.COM in an interview, that the dog just needs to be retrained by the proper people.

Molly passed away immediately after the incident that unfolded on Blucher Ave, this past September 16th. Molly was being taken for a walk when the dog charged at her. (Full story linked below)

A court date is scheduled for next month and will move the case along.

  1. Im not sure that’s the proper punishment. I guess it sort of avenges McNugget’s death but the dog has no understanding of what it did… its a dog.

However I do support the death penalty for humans.

  2. absolutely rediculous, the dog should not be killed because its owner was irrisponsible,
needs to be rehomed and properly trained……

this pitbull ban is bullshit, basically descrimateing a breed,ey did that to humans its called racism so why is it ok for animals?

    1. oooooh big tough guy.. you can shoot a dog, you must be proud.
people like you are the ones that should be shot!
