Sioux Lookout OPP Welcomes 3 New Recruits

(SIOUX LOOKOUT, ON) – This past week the Sioux Lookout OPP were proudly joined by three new Provincial Constables, P/C MAECKER, P/C RADDATZ and P/C ROBB. All three officers have successfully completed their training at the Ontario Provincial Police Academy, and will be on the road with their coach officers this week.

Provincial Constable Eric MAECKER is joining the Sioux Lookout OPP from Southern Ontario, where he had a successful career playing junior hockey. Constable MAECKER is a community minded officer with a love for the outdoors. He believes that it is truly a privilege to serve the citizens of Sioux Lookout, and will be actively engaging with the community to continue our on-going partnerships. He is also looking forward to playing at the Sioux Lookout Memorial Arena and spending time on the water in the beautiful Hub of the North.

Provincial Constable Corey RADDATZ is joining the Sioux Lookout OPP from Southern Ontario, where he was a Nuclear Security Officer and worked at a Mental Health Hospital. He was born and raised in Pembroke, Ontario, and graduated from Orillia with a Police Studies Degree. In his spare time he enjoys staying physically fit and playing hockey. Constable RADDATZ is excited to be starting his career as a police officer in Sioux Lookout, where he will be providing innovative and proactive policing services to the members of our community.

Provincial Constable Curtis ROBB is returning to Sioux Lookout after leaving to attend constable training last fall. He is originally from the Niagara Region, and has a background in social work.

He also describes himself as a fishing enthusiast and avid outdoorsman. Constable ROBB moved to Sioux Lookout in 2017 and took on the role of Project Sunset Youth Engagement Coordinator, working with students at Sioux Mountain Public School. He is looking forward to getting back to the community and continuing to build relationships with community members and community partners.
