(RED LAKE, ON) – On October 13, 2019 at approximately 12:32 a.m., officers from the Red Lake Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) observed a motor vehicle fail to stop at an intersection.
The officers initiated a traffic stop and subsequently made a demand for an approved screening device breath sample. The driver failed, was placed under arrest for Operation While Impaired, and was returned to the detachment for further tests.
As a result of the investigation Brandon MILLER, 25, of Salmon Arm, British Columbia was charged with:
- Operation While Impaired – 80 plus contrary to Section 320.14(1)(b) of the Criminal Code
MILLER was released by way of Recognizance for Red Lake court on November 21, 2019 at 9:00 a.m. to answer to the charges.
