(DRYDEN, ON) – On Tuesday, September 3, 2019, the Dryden Police received a report of theft of a computer from a business on King Street that occurred just minutes prior.
Through the use of video surveillance from surrounding businesses, descriptions of the two suspects were obtained that led to their arrest around 5:00 pm the same day.

Jonathan Ross HENDRICKSON, age 20 of Kenora, Ontario is charged with:

  • Obstruct Peace Officer.
  • Theft Under $5000.
  • Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000.
  • Possession of Stolen Property Under $5000.
  • Two counts of failing to comply with a Court Order.

HENDRICKSON was remanded to custody and will appear in Bail Court on September 4th in Dryden, ON.
Anthony Dwayne MORRISON (pictured), age 28 of Kenora Ontario is facing charges of:

  • Possession of Stolen Property Under $5000.
  • Failing to Comply with a Probation Order.

MORRISON was released on a Promise to Appear for October 7, 2019 in Dryden, ON.
On September 3, 2019, Dryden Police Service received a report of stolen bicycle from outside of a home on Casimir Avenue.  The bike is described as a Norco Mountain Bike, black with red writing and some white and in very good condition.  If you have any information about this crime or observe this bike please call the Dryden Police Service or Crime Stoppers.
