(THUNDER BAY, ON) – Appearing in courtroom 104 for bail this morning via video from the Thunder Bay Police Service Station is Iman Elsaeway, a resident of southern Ontario.

Her Worship Zelda Kitchekeesic is presiding. Federal Crown Attorney Ron Poirier and Defence Lawyer David Young are present.

Elsaeway is charged with:

  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine
  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking heroin
  • Possession of property obtained by crime

The Crown is willing to release, as long as there is a bail plan that satisfies the crown. There are primary ground concerns as this woman is not a resident of Thunder Bay, but resides in Toronto.

The matter is remanded to a future court date.

Members of the TBPS Intelligence Unit made several arrests last evening at a Fulton Boulevard apartment in conjunction with a drug investigation which began earlier in the month.

Officers executed a search warrant and arrested four individuals that were in the residence. A search resulted in the seized drugs believed to be heroin and crack cocaine valued at over $39,000 along with approximately $15,000.

A Taser was also located in a purse belonging to the female that was arrested.

All off the accused appeared in court this morning and were remanded into custody on the following charges:

1. Jeffery McNickle, 50-years-old of Thunder Bay

  • Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
  • Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Heroin
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5,000

2. Warran Mills, 28-years-old of Brampton, Ontario

  • Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
  • Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Heroin
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5,000
  • Breach of Recognizance

3. Quwayne Miller – 24-years-old of Scarborough, Ontario

  • Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
  • Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Heroin
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5,000

4. Iman Elsaway, 20-years-old of North York, Ontario

  • Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
  • Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Heroin
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5,00
  • Unauthorized Possession of a Restricted or Prohibited Weapon

    im the least racist person around it has nothing to do with race, just the fact that these out of town people are forceing addicts to live in there homes and push drugs from them, they are abducting wemon, and who knows what else there doing. i have 2 small children and all i want is for a safer place for them, i really dont understand how this turned into a race thing????
    and just for your info i dont do any drugs, hell i dont even drink, but thank you for your concern, you have issues if your trying to protect these scum bags that are hurting poeple…..
