(THUNDER BAY, ON) – Officers with the Thunder Bay Police Service once again have a suspected trap house surrounded with suspected southern Ontario gang members bunkered down inside the residence. What we heard was that someone who goes by the name “Petro” went to the trap looking for dope but had no money. He went a little bit psycho and called in a gun threat in retaliation for not getting a “spot” from the dealer. A “spot” is a loan, meant to be short term, where the addict gets a number of drugs to be paid back ASAP.
An officer can be heard in the video we published below demanding the goons to exit the house in a single file. The address stated is 521 McTavish, in the East End. TBPS had the section of McTavish completely blocked off to traffic.
A woman was rushed out of the area while this was going down after apparently overdosing on the “blue down” that’s going around town. Many people are tricked into thinking it is stronger than other types of down, but the reality is that it is just cut with numerous other drugs, including dog dewormer and ingredients used in industrial cleaning supplies along with meth. The woman was arrested by police.
Police are ushering people away from the scene. Residents on the street are allowed to leave but upon returning, they are not allowed back in the area. Numerous officers could be seen crouched down behind parked vehicles with large guns and what appeared to be heavy body armour.
We have reports of suspected gang members running down the back alley in an attempt to escape, only to be arrested by TBPS officers who have the area surrounded. We have a picture of a cop hustling a gangster into the back seat of a police cruiser.
Another arrest was made in the same fashion, a suspected southern Ontario gang member was fleeing the house, only to be arrested by officers that had the area surrounded. Pictured below.
Another photo of the same suspect below.
The home in question is owned by a John, who we have obtained a photo of. According to our sources, he is a resident there and left the house immediately without issue.
The suspected southern Ontario gangster that is getting hauled off in the video we have below, appears to be named Andrew Colinchuk or something similar.
We will be updating this article as additional information becomes available. Below is the video footage we obtained.
