(THUNDER BAY, ON) – Sitting in the McDonald’s drive-thru can sometimes become dangerous, even once you have left the drive-thru and are waiting for your food to be brought out to your car.
Truth be told, I’ve gotten into a few fistfights in my younger days in fast food drive-thrus. One time I even walked through the drive-thru in questionable clothing on a dare, but that’s neither here nor there.
A woman and her beloved boyfriend were waiting for their food from McDonald’s on Red River Road today when an older balding man interacted with them. He approached the boyfriends’ window and asked for change. The boyfriend declined which resulted in the old man lurking up to the vehicle in front of them. The kids in front of them gave the old man change.
After giving the old man change, the kids told then man to “bug off”. The man lurked away and then came back in what appears to be a fit of rage. He ended up getting his likely arthritic leg up and kicked the passenger side window three times.
The kids got out of the vehicle and confronted the man. There was some brief pushing, shoving and peacocking going on before all parties deescalated and went about their day.
