Two Males Break & Enter, Ransack Home


(THUNDER BAY, ON) – Another residential break and enter to report. Below are the details.
Thunder Bay Police Service officers are looking to identify two males connected to a recent break and enter investigation and other suspicious activities in the area of the 2200 block of Sills Street.
Police were originally dispatched to a break and enter in progress at a home in that neighbourhood at about 12:10 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 1.
Police learned a woman returned home and observed two males who were unknown to her fleeing from her residence. One male was in the process of climbing out of her basement window as she arrived.
Officers checked the victim’s home and confirmed it had been ransacked. Various items had been stolen.
Further investigation revealed the two suspicious males were observed in the area around 11:30 a.m. that same day walking through people’s lawns.
The first suspect is described as a Caucasian male standing about 5’8” tall with a slim build. He wore plaid shorts, a T-shirt of unknown colour and carried a dark backpack at the time of the incident.
The second male suspect is described as an Indigenous male standing about 5’8” tall. He wore a dark long-sleeved shirt, dark jeans and had a dark backpack at the time of the incident.
Investigators are now asking the public for assistance as they continue to attempt to identify these two suspicious males.
