(THUNDER BAY, ON) – UPDATE: The stolen vehicle has been located and the woman who owns it would like to thank the public for their assistance.

EARLIER: A south-side woman woke up this morning to her vehicle being stolen right from her driveway.

The woman says that as she slept, she believes that one of her “so-called friends” took her keys and stole her car. Interestingly enough, the suspect left his shoes and jacket but made off with her cigarettes and home phone.

Further, the woman is distressed as this is her only vehicle and she is on a limited budget while raising her son. She feels lost at the moment and would appreciate the public’s help locating her vehicle.

She’s left wondering how her and her son are going to make it to appoints this week and exactly how to inform her young son that their new car has been stolen. “I feel so broken inside and just violated” the woman expressed.

The car is described by the victim as a 2010 Kia Rondo with the license plate CKXZ 219. Police have been informed of the incident and are actively investigating the occurence.

  1. People need to be a bit more selective regarding whom they choose as “friends”.

    Hope she gets her vehicle back unharmed and most of all has learned a lesson here. If not, she’s in for a lot of misery down the road.
