  1. This is particularly hard to wrap my head around.

WTF was she thinking? Nursing pays good money.

This woman is one special fool. Was it outright greed? Was she all messed up on drugs and/or was she being manipulated?

Either way, she’s taken herself out of an excellent job and turned herself into a criminal. So sad.

    1. She was only a RPN, they don’t make that much money. She was obviously hard into drugs looks way older than 24!

    2. Not hard to fathom at all Rex. Look @ all the messed up professional athletes. Loads of money. I think that’s the problem with drugs nowadays, try it once and you’re hooked in a lot of instances. I’ll stick to my weed.

    3. Why are people so hard on people when they are at their lowest. There would appear to have been some circumstances that brought about this brain fart, lack of judgement for this young girl. Everyone makes a mistake or two, I hope that things work out for this kid.

    4. She got herself involved with the wrong people in Sioux Lookout the downfall was years in the making. Wrong people, getting addicted to drugs. There was a turning point but either not many people seen it or failed to help in her to separate her from that world. It fell to this extremity and there were warning signs but sadly she didn’t get the help to kick the drugs. We don’t know all the facts as there were two people involved until the court hearing happens we will see what the verdict is.

  2. Her nursing career is over so in a way if she was an RN her criminal activities are going to cost her well over $50000/yrs. With $116k in her cookie jar earning money by working at a real job like the rest of us doesn’t hurt. Of course she was moving large quantities so some gang is going to be pisses cuz it was likely their cash that was seized. She isn’t going to look so hot once criminal or street justice is done with her

    1. She’s got to be a fairly bright person. Getting a legit nursing degree takes a lot of personal commitment and a lot of difficult education and training. And she pissed it all away. SMH.

Sorry, No Gladue for this one.

When she gets out of the slam, she might be able to find work in some third world country that’s hard up for trained medical personnel and are willing to overlook her drug dealing past?

    2. that’s a train.
Dirty Mike and the boys are gonna pimp her out to homeless men from the back of a Prius.
They fill the back seat with as many men as they can and they all have their way.
They call it a soup kitchen.

  3. It is truly disheartening when a community such as Sioux lookout desperately needs medical professionals as we do also attracts medical professionals that would cause harm to the very people she is supposed to be here to help. A total betrayal of trust. I am happy that our police force is working so hard to stop the drug use not only in our community but helping to stop elicit and dangerous drugs from reaching the northern communities with an epidemic of drug use and addictions.
Sadly her link to the hospital sheds a bad light on other medical professionals. I hope people will remember that she is a rare exception and a disgrace to the medical community.

  4. Or, contrary to all the other comments, she could be innocent and a victim of ‘wrong place at the wrong time’. Ya, you do get arrested if you’re inside a house where a large quantity of drugs exist even if you didn’t know it was there.

  5. Pretty sad. Hard to understand why she would turn to drugs. Kinda hope it was the guy doing it all and she didn’t know but doesn’t look like it. Live and learn.

  6. What a disgusting disgrace on the profession.
I will vomit if her fkg union gets her off this charge and doesn’t permanently revoke her PRACTICAL nursing license.
She is not a Registered Nurse.
The hospital should be doing an in depth investigation in to any controlled substances she had access to and speaking with any other employees.

  7. There are major drugs in all cities in every province of this once great country. The black gangs have taken our loved ones and turned them into slaves for drugs, money , street cred. Mental illness and the lure of easy tax free money rule their lives once they get a taste. Sioux Lookout is no different then and other town. Tbay/kenora/ignace/Nipigon/ and all the way to Toronto/Ottawa/Hamilton/ Quebec and every other province. Scum bag gangsters that would kill their own family for money and drugs.
