(THUNDER BAY, ON) – Thunder Bay Police Service are currently on a manhunt for two southern Ontario men they believe were involved in a shooting that took place early this morning.

The serious incident unfolded in the 500 block of May Street North at a well-known trap house sometime after 2:30 am this morning.

As is common amongst many residences in Thunder Bay, the home was overtaken by southern Ontario gang members for the purposes of drug trafficking.

Police are so-far tight-lipped about the situation and we were not able to confirm if the shooting was fatal or if anyone was shot, but the shooting did take place.

The centre of the police attention appears to be focused in the back alley where police have taped off the area and are currently conducting an investigation.

This incident is believed to be directly linked to the drug trafficking trade specifically tied to the southern Ontario gangs that have taken over the city.
