(PICKLE LAKE, ON) – On a previous court date, 20-year-old Tommy Fox was granted bail after allegations arose surrounding a sexual assault and a mischief.
He was granted release from jail and was court-ordered not to contact the alleged victim and not to be within 25 meters of them. On December 6th, officers with the Pickle Lake detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted an investigation and revealed that they believe Fox had violated his bail conditions to stay away from the alleged victim.
He was released from jail on November 28th, 2019, which is when he was ordered to stay away from the alleged victim.
Fox appeared in a Thunder Bay Courthouse courtroom this morning via telephone call from the Pickle Lake OPP detachment. Justice of the Peace Anna Gibbon was presiding along with Crown Attorney Katrina “Lock ’em UP!” VanKessel and a duty counsel worker.
Fox is facing three charge today that all stem from him breaching his previous bail conditions. He was previously charged with sexual assault and mischief.
He was not granted bail today and will be shipped off to the Kenora District Jail where he will likely remain until at least Monday, December 9th, 2019, when he is scheduled to appear in a Sioux Lookout courtroom for another swing at being released.
