Senior Citizen Nailed with Sexual Assault Charge

(IROQUOIS FALLS, ON) – On February 3, 2020, members of the Iroquois Falls Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) along with members of the North East Region OPP Crime Unit were called to investigate a sexual assault in Iroquois Falls.

Officers worked hard on the case and have made an announcement.

As a result of the investigation, Cholamkeril THOMAS, 64-years-old, of Iroquois Falls, Ontario has been charged with:

  • Sexual Assault, contrary to section 271 of the Criminal Code (CC).
  • Failure to Comply with Undertaking, contrary to section 145(4)(a) of the CC.

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on March 10, 2020 in Timmins.

    He’ll probably use that for his excuse when he goes to court. The judge will swallow the story, hook, line and sinker and let him off with instructions for him to read the warning labels on his medication.
