SCHOOL THREAT: St Patrick’s High School Targeted

(THUNDER BAY, ON) – The Thunder Bay Police Service is investigation a threat that has been directed at St. Patrick High School.
Police were made aware of a threat that was posted on Snapchat around 8 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 11. The threat involved a snap showing what appeared to be a photograph of a rifle with a caption insinuating an attack against the school.
The complaint was immediately handed over to the service’s Major Crime Section and officers are now investigation the origin of this threat.
The post is similar to an earlier threat directed at Westgate High School via Snapchat.
The Thunder Bay Police Service’s Cyber Crime Unit and School Resource Unit are also assisting with these investigations.

  1. Another student looking for an extra long weekend at the price of a criminal record… I would say you should stay in school but with the current curriculum not really helping most students, maybe it’s for the best.
