ROBBERY: Arthur Street Esso’s Get Hit


(THUNDER BAY, ON) – Early this morning, two Esso gas stations were reportedly robbed.

Our source, from the Esso’s tells us that this man lurked into the store demanding money.


The suspect made off with an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing the scene. There could have been more businesses robbed, but at this point we have only been made aware of the two Esso’s.

After the robberies, the man then fled both scenes in the SUV pictured above. Witnesses in the area said they seen what they believe to be plumes of crack cocaine emanating from the SUV’s window as it drove off.

The man is described as:

  • Chubby.
  • Desperate.
  • Around 6-foot to 6-foot 2-inch tall.
  • Possibly smoking crack cocaine.

  1. This guy gets his methadone dosed at the white cedar OATC on Vickers street. I have no idea what his name is, but I see him there once a week first thing Tuesday mornings. He’s always very sketchy, looks like he’s deep in his addiction, clearly if he’s robbing stores. Very sad and scary these people just don’t care anymore.

  2. Those methadone clinics are a sham. I know one person that’s been on methadone for 6-8 years. Some with take aways just end up selling it. And yes they still are doing other opioids.

    1. Yes of course there are some people who abuse the system, it’s inevitable. I can proudly say that methadone helped bring me back from the depths of a horrible addiction. I’ve been sober for over 2 years, and have been lowering my dose of methadone to get off of it. It’s a long process, and unfortunately it’s extremely easy to fall back into old habits.
      Methadone does work, I would be dead by now otherwise.
