Police Swarm Notorious Pearl Street Trap House

(THUNDER BAY, ON) – Last night, an altercation took place at a north side trap house which involved drug traffickers, some from southern Ontario.
Two men with “dark complexions” were asked to leave the home. They were not wanted there any longer. The tenant in the unit managed to get some help from friends to put the request forward.
After some heated debate, the two unwanted southern Ontario gang members left but not without kicking up some dust before they left. Before exiting the trap house, one of the males smashed a large piece of glass that was out of our sources view. It’s unsure if it was a window or a table. Once outside, one of the males shot a gun off twice, possibly just into the air.

At this point the males fled the area as officers with the Thunder Bay Police Service arrived. A male was located with serious cuts to his hands at Wilson park. The cuts happened from handling the broken glass. It’s common for people that sustain injuries in a trap house to be sent elsewhere for emergency services to attend to them.
Police cruisers swarmed the scene and had spotlights searching all areas around the home and nearby blocks.

The K-9 unit was also utilized during the search.

No word yet on if any arrests were made. This is a developing story and we will update you as more information becomes available.
