Police Investigate String of Break and Enters

(IGNACE, ON) – Members of the Ignace Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are requesting assistance from the public to solve a string of break and enters.

Sometime between November 28, 2019 and December 3, 2019 unknown persons entered into private outbuildings and stole numerous tools within the Municipality of Ignace.

The OPP is requesting anyone with information to contact the Ignace OPP Detachment at 807-937-5577 or 1-888-310-1122.

Should you wish to remain anonymous, you may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS), where you may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2,000.

The OPP wants to remind all members of the public to be aware of their personal safety at all times. Please ensure your vehicles, residence and outbuildings are locked at all times with any valuables out of site. For safety and crime prevention tips, please visit the OPP website at www.opp.ca
