(THUNDER BAY, ON) – A “Trap House” is street slang for a residence that is being utilized to traffick illegal drugs and substances. We have obtained information regarding a residence that was once overwhelmed with drug trafficking and substance use.
This home was once the home of a sober male who was on the right track in life. He met a woman who was an active drug user and also trafficked illegal drugs to sustain her drug use. The woman was also involved with out of town gangs.

Sometime last year is when the male made the fatal decision to start using his girlfriends product along with her. She also started trafficking the drugs out of his home. The home quickly became quite the disaster, as it went uncleaned and used needles started to pile up.

Needles were spotted in the yard and throughout the home. The male was evicted from the home about a year ago. Sadly, he refused help to get sober from his loved ones and died from an overdose earlier this year. The report stated that carfentanil is what he died from.

This is a scary reality in the modern world. Substance abuse is very hard to overcome, but if you accept the help and want to get better, reach out to family and friends for support, you can make a better life for yourself. The good people at the Thunder Bay Counselling Centre are non-judgemental and will show you compassion and understanding. They have counsellors and resources that will help change your life for the better. Reach out to them today at 807-684-1880 and start the journey of sobering up.
This story ends sadly, as the male is now deceased yet his girlfriend is still on the streets trafficking drugs. We have been told that many houses that have been for sale recently are being sold because the existing home owners had to endure the unbearable situation of having drug trafficking tenants reside in the residence.
