Numerous Schools Enter “Hold & Secure”

(THUNDER BAY, ON) – Following threats made to Westgate High School and St Patick’s High School, the following statements were made by both the Lakehead Public Schools and the Thunder Bay Catholic District School Board.
Lakehead Public Schools:

‼️UPDATE- Hold and Secure‼️
With the expansion of the threat at Westgate High School and St. Patrick High School the Thunder Bay Catholic District School Board has placed St. Patrick High School, St. Martins, St. Elizabeth, St. Thomas, St. Ann and Pope John Paul in a Hold and Secure.
The threat is currently being investigated by Thunder Bay Police Services, and the regular dismissal is anticipated with the Hold and Secure precaution to be lifted by the end of the school day.

We appreciate your understanding during these circumstances, as our students and staff are always our priority.

Elementary Hold and Secures
With the expansion of the threat to include St. Patrick’s High School, the following schools will be under a Hold and Secure until further notice:

  • Kingsway Park Public School
  • Westmount Public School
Updates will be provided as new information becomes available

    WTF is wrong with youth these days? Their parents must be complete a-holes to raise such undisciplined, short sighted, stupid children. The world’s in trouble folks.
    Hope they’re caught, severely disciplined, and the parents fined for all costs associated with this incident. Including, but not limited to school shut down time, and police expenses
