Non Stop Criminal “Justin Beaver” Arrested on James Street

(THUNDER BAY, ON) – Criminally convicted 27 times and still climbing, introducing 28-year-old Justin Beaver. Beaver was arrested by Thunder Bay Police Service officers on September 6th after a 911 call was made and a disturbance was reported on James Street near Isabella.
Upon officers arrival at the scene of the disturbance, a male and female were located and questioned. Allegations are that Justin Beaver provided police with the name “Jason Beaver” as the woman he was with provided her real name. As police were just about to depart the scene, they overheard chatter that his real name was “Justin”. Police ran a check on “Justin Beaver” and found out that he is currently under a probation order which includes the condition to not be in contact with this woman. Beaver is about two weeks into this probation order.
Police arrested Beaver a short distance away from the scene. He was held until his bail appearance this morning in front of Justice of the Peace Marcel Donio. Crown Attorney Derrick Silvestro, duty counsel lawyer Robert Habjan and an assistant from Michael “The Pit Bull” Hargadon’s office were also present.
Beaver indicates to the court that his lawyer of choice is Hargadon. Hargadon, had his assistant appear in court this morning to assist in his clients matter. Beaver is facing the following criminal charges stemming from this incident:

  • Breach of probation (Do not contact a certain woman).
  • Fraudulently personate someone with intent to avoid arrest.

The Crown is willing to release Beaver on the following conditions:

  • $1000 non-deposit recognizance of bail.
  • Reside in the 100 block of West Francis Street.
  • No contact with the woman he was alleged to have been caught with while ordered via probation to not be around.
  • Do not attend within 50 meters of anywhere that woman may be.
  • No weapons.
  • Report weekly to the Thunder Bay Police Service in person between 8am and 8pm every Thursday.

Court hears that Beaver has 27 criminal convictions which are basically non-stop since he became an adult and into 2019. He has convictions around failing to appear for court, failing to comply with court orders, aggravated assault and more. This is considered a lengthy criminal record.
His Worship Donio canvasses if the $1000 amount surrounding his bail would pose a substantial barrier to him being released should he breach his bail conditions and have to pay it. Blanco informs the court that Beaver is not employed. Beaver appears to be a physically fit and healthier person at a glance.
Justice of the Peace Donio lowers the amount proposed to $500 and adds an additional condition to his bail plan. That condition is that Beaver must seek and attempt to gain employment. “Which means getting out of bed early, not sleeping in until 2:00 pm” Donio says while addressing Beaver. Further, Donio tells Beaver that should he get arrested again, his bail conditions will get stricter and stricter.
Beaver is released with a future court date of October 1, 2019.
