(THUNDER BAY, ON) – On August 3, 2019, a woman was hanging out with someone she was apparently close with. Sometime during their time together, allegations are that the man logged into her online banking and transferred himself $1620. The woman claims she did not give him access to her account, her password and did not grant permission for the transaction to take place.
Police arrested 23-year-old Brenden Bryan Gravelle-Sanego and charged him with fraud. He was released on conditions not to contact the woman or be near her home, work, or other places she frequents.
Officers with the Thunder Bay Police Service have once again arrested Gravelle-Sanego, but this time he is alleged to have violated his release conditions by attending the address of the alleged victim and refused to leave. Police picked him up and held him at the police station pending his court appearance which took place this morning.
Gravelle-Sanego appeared in a Thunder Bay courtroom this morning via video link from the Thunder Bay Police Service station while in police custody. His Worship, Justice of the Peace Bruce Leaman was presiding along with Crown Attorney Manon Arbour and a duty counsel lawyer.
Gravelle-Sanego is facing the following criminal charges:
