Midtown Inn:Group Rushes Room, Two Stabbed

(THUNDER BAY, ON) – Our solid and reliable sources that are close to the Midtown Inn have informed us about a stabbing that took place in a room.


Around 3:40 am officers with the Thunder Bay Police Service responded to the Midtown Inn after receiving reports that an assault had taken place. Multiple people arrived at the Midtown Inn from a different trap house. Upon their arrival they were let in through the back door and made their way up to the second fooor. The group then forced their way into room 203 and two people were stabbed. This incident is believed to be surrounding the drug trade.

The two men who were stabbed are suspected gang members from Toronto. The stabbings are believed to be due to a gang rivalry between two separate gangs from the Toronto area that has carried over to the streets of Thunder Bay.

Street name of one of the guys stabbed is “miles”.

The injured party was later taken to hospital with what police described as “non-life threatening injuries”.


The Midtown Inn has been the location of numerous violent assaults lately along with suspected drug trafficking.

Police are investigating this incident.
