(THUNDER BAY, ON) – Recently, a sawed-off shotgun and pistol were seized by the Thunder Bay Police Service after an incident unfolded at the Midtown Inn which then extended south on Cumberland to a condo building located on Pearl between Cumberland and Water.

19-year-old Cameron Wendell Douglas Downs, a resident of Thunder Bay, appeared in a Thunder Bay Courthouse courtroom via video link from the Thunder Bay District Jail. His lawyer of choice, Tyler Woods was present.

The talented criminal defence lawyer John DeBakker appears to be his representation. His matter was remanded until tomorrow to set a date for a bail hearing. Littleford has previous charges outstanding before court and he is facing a breach of probation, breach of bail conditions and more.

The youth and adult from Toronto which is connected to this case are still being remanded and to my knowledge have not been set for bail hearings yet. All four suspects remain in jail at this time.

Context

Thunder Bay Police Service officers with the Uniform Patrol Branch were originally dispatched to the zero-to-100 block of Cumberland Street North just after 4:30 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 27 following reports of a group who may have been in possession of firearms.

Police arrived and almost immediately located four males who were likely connected to the original call for service.

Police spoke to one of the four males and confirmed that he was illegally in possession of a firearm, at which point he was arrested at the scene. A second male was also arrested for a firearms-related offence.

As the two men were being arrested, the other two suspects fled on foot in separate directions. Both were located in the area later that morning. A scene was held on Pearl Street between Cumberland and Water in relation to this incident.

Further investigation revealed that the group of males had been in a hallway at the Midtown Inn earlier that morning where they were observed brandishing what appeared to be two firearms. Both firearms observed have since been seized by police.

  1. Good. Keep them in there. Besides the two little chickies crying leaving the court room, nobody cares if they get out. You do the crime, you do the time!

  2. All of these lowlife wannabe gangsta punks who use or are in possession of firearms should be locked up without bail until their court hearing and thereafter, heavily sentenced.

There’s no way any of these creeps should be permitted out on bail if they had anything to do with firearms in the commission of a crime.

It’s these crackhead druggers who are most dangerous to the public and the police. They’re obviously off their rockers to be doing this shit in the first place and to be using firearms makes them even crazier than the average snake. Lock the bastards up and leave them there.

  3. Canada needs to pass a law that puts these scum sucking degenerative diseased people out on work detail crews cleaning up the town’s and communities they are infecting. God help the world if any of this slime is multiplying and breeding. Likely with relatives and family by their mentality and respect for others. Gas them they won’t reoffend or so bother anyone again. Make the stakes high and then things might be a lot different. Right now the officers arrest and the courts let them go wtf

Of course they’re breeding. Like rats. How else do they increase their income? “Pecker cheques” is what they refer to their children as.

To make matters worse, the children being born to these lowlife degenerates will likely end up worse than their parents due to bad genetics combined with FAS and drug related brain damage.

At the rate they’re going, they’re likely out-reproducing normal people. Dumpster Bay does not have a very bright future.
