(THUNDER BAY, ON) – Once again, officers with the Emergency Task Unit of the Thunder Bay Police Service responded to City Hall after reports of an assault in progress.
Citizens that were in the area told TRCC News in an interview that a man had exited the bus and an argument ensued between him and other city bus riders who were either waiting for a bus to arrive or had just got off the same bus. We were told some punches were thrown briefly but nothing overly exciting.
The group dispersed except for one man who was seen hitting the drivers’ side window of a Superior North EMS ambulance.
The Emergency Task Unit unmarked truck pulled up next to the ambulance and it seemed the police officers shooed the man away.
At that point the man lurked down Donald and then north on May before we lost contact with him.
If you are interested in “people watching”, There is something of interest happening outside city hall at least a few times a day.
