(THUNDER BAY, ON) – Officers with the Thunder Bay Police Service along with firefighters with the Thunder Bay Fire & Rescue swarmed a home in the city’s southside early this afternoon. The incident unfolded in the 500 block of Syndicate Ave South.

Residents in the area advise us that the home has frequent and heavy foot traffic which is consistent with drug trafficking activities.

Police cruisers swarmed the area and police took several people into custody. The scene was still being held at the time of this publishing.

It is uncertain if this is a drug bust or a violent circumstance. It is interesting that the fire department has attended. -We are uncertain of their involvement with the situation.

  1. Yeah!!!!! Way to go boys!!!! Unfortunately it seems to be a loosing battle. Time for our useless city council to start lobbying the province for some funds to rid these scum bag turds from our city!!
And remember citizens of Thunder Bay complain, complain, complain. The police listen

  2. It sounds like a planned take-down, but maybe it was a surprise ?
A surprise takedown would explain the cruisers flying down Arthur at 80kmh+ in the snow.
