Man Catches $1600+ in Fines For Unsecured Carseat & More

(MANITOBA) – A man in Manitoba has had his wallet lightened quite a bit after officers with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police pulled him over.
Officers noticed that a baby’s carseat wasn’t secured properly and wa just sitting on the console. The baby and carseat could have been ejected in a collision.
Further, a 13-year-old in the front seat was not wearing their seatbelt.
Investigation revealed that the vehicle was unregistered, uninsured and the driver failed to produce a license.
A 46-year-old male was nailed with fines totalling $1679. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

  1. A fine is insufficient. This A-hole should have been charged with child endangerment and should be assessed whether or not he’s competent enough to supervise children. Unbelievable carelessness!
