Highway Collision ends with Impaired Charges

(ATIKOKAN, ON) – At 7:00 pm on November 10, 2019 members of the Rainy River District Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police were dispatched to a collision on Highway 11B in Atikokan.

The officers conducted an investigation at the scene.

As a result of the investigation conducted, Michelle BOUCHARD (29) of Fort William First Nation has been charged criminally with:

  • One count of impaired operation of a conveyance by drugs or alcohol; and
  • One count of impaired operation of a conveyance – 80 or more mg of alcohol in 100 ml of blood.

BOUCHARD will attend Atikokan Provincial Court on January 22, 2020 at 11:00 am to answer to these charges.

The OPP is committed to safety for all who utilize Ontario’s roadways. Members of the public are urged to report Impaired Driving by calling 911 in emergency situations. Complaints of impaired, aggressive or careless driving can also be made by calling      1-888-310-1122.

  1. Don’t you just love looking up these losers on FB and reading their profile: “Stay at Home Mom”, Full Time Mom” etc. which actually translates into “Stay at Home Welfare Scammer”. Can’t work but no problem owning a vehicle, buying alcohol, driving and drinking. Pathetic.
