(THUNDER BAY, ON) – We were alerted to yet another heavy police presence at a notorious north side housing project.

The tips came flowing into our news desk shortly after 8:00 pm this evening, which had reports of numerous police vehicles and a ambulance on scene.

A resident in the area informed us that police came rushing into a unit that is well known for drug related activity. Our source was ordered back into their house by police and told to lock the door.

Multiple sources informed us that they believe police were called to the scene due to another possible gun incident.

Police officers were seen on location investigating.

This situation unfolded just days after gunshots rang through the north-side neighbourhood, which had police tape up a section of the area.

We have recieved a tip that police were chasing a suspect on foot and made an arrest on Brittany Drive. Highly likely that arrest is related to this incident.

We have no clue what has happened this evening, but our email tip line is open if anyone wants to send in information to contactus@trcctb.com or you can use our anonymous contact us link at the bottom of this article.

We will update you as we find out more information.
