(LONDON, ON) – Two Londoners are facing a total of thirteen charges after more than $38,000 worth of drugs and nearly $14,000 in cash was seized last week.
On Friday, January 3, 2020, members of the London Police Service Guns and Drugs Section executed a search warrant at a residence on Leeds Cross in the City of London.
The following items were seized:
- 177 grams of fentanyl
- 504 grams of suspected cutting agent
- 103 hydromorphone pills
- 1.5 grams of cocaine
- Cellular phones, a fentanyl press, and a small quantity of fentanyl transdermal patches
- Canadian currency
Total value of drugs seized = $38,931
Total Canadian currency seized = $13,790
As a result of the investigation, two individuals were charged with the following Controlled Drugs and Substances Act offences:
Michael Resendes 30, of London, is charged with:
- Possession of a controlled substance in schedule 1 of the Controlled Drugs and Substance Act for the purpose of trafficking x8.
Christina Brun 35, of London, is charged with:
- Possession of a controlled substance in schedule 1 of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act for the purpose of trafficking x5.
The Guns and Drugs Section is comprised of members of the London Police Service, Royal Canadian Mounted Police and Ontario Provincial Police. This investigation has been made possible by a grant from the Ministry of the Solicitor General.
