(THUNDER BAY, ON) – The lone fatality from a house fire that erupted suspiciously on Bethune street earlier this year has ties to the Dease street shooting. We are going to present some information below about this.

Christopher Witzell, who is now deceased, was dating Destiny Pappassay, the daughter of Holly Pappassay, the suspected shooter in the Dease Street Incident. During his time dating her, he would keep her by his side so that she would not be forced into prostitution by the vicious southern Ontario gang members who had taken over her mother’s house.

This had a financial impact on the Pappassay trap house as well as the gang members who were running it. The southern Ontario gang members are suspected to be of Somali descent.

Witzell had angered the Somali gang members by getting in the way of their human trafficking ambitions. Not having Destiny in their grips was costing them money. Witzell stood strong and continued to defy their demands for him to relinquish her. It was well known that Witzell did not get along with Holly or Tabatha over this, among other issues.

Police suspect criminal activity in the matter of Witzell’s death. The investigation is continuing in both the shooting and the fatal fire on Bethune.

Thunder Bay continues to be overrun with out of town, violent gangs. Gang violence is becoming ever more prevalent and our police service is swamped. If officers don’t get what they need to combat the situation, it will only get worse.

Toronto and Ottawa have been given massive amounts of money to help combat their gang and gun issues. This will have a natural effect of pushing more gang and gun violence into other regions, such as our city, Thunder Bay.

  1. Good work connecting the dots Pino.
Can’t help but wonder if TBPS were aware of these connections? I certainly hope so. If not, they’re piss poor investigators.
Why is it that Sudbury, with a population of 160,000 plus, has by far, much less crime than Thunder Bay? What are their police doing so much better to keep their crime rates much less than half of that of Thunder Bay? Maybe their welfare office isn’t quite a free and easy with tax dollars, thus not attracting welfare scamming druggers into their town?
This city needs to take drastic measures to deal with this southern Ontario slime. Declare an emergency and seek the implementation of martial law. Bring in the military to start kicking down doors and opening fire on this vermin. Burn those b@stards out of town. Make every second of their worthless lives miserable at every turn. They’ve been getting away with murder for far too long.

    1. I totally agree with you on that.Police are doing what they can do the judges are to afraid so everything gets dropped and the gang members walk.Enough is enough all ready.

  2. This invasion by southern Ontario hoodlums must be stopped. The police can only do so much and are restricted by the rules of our judicial system. Jails and prisons are already overcrowded so judges are reluctant to sentence these criminals to prison so give them lenient sentences. I really hate to say this but perhaps what is needed is a prison up on some desolate and uninhabited Arctic island where these miscreants can be dropped by helicopter with some basic tools and some lumber and some flour and fresh water and let them fend for themselves or die. No guards, no medical care and no way to escape. Anything less would be showing them to much mercy. Of course this ain’t going to happen but I dream can’t I?

    1. Agreed.
Depending on severity of crimes, death penalty, labour camps and chain gangs would go a loooong way to curb violence and crime in general. As it is, the current “justice” system is failing society.

  3. Sudbury has much different demographics than Dumpster Bay. Read into that what you want. Also Sudbury cops are not dealing with massive numbers of southern trash and the activities they dish like the cops in Dumpster Bay have to. For sure all cities have their trash but it is more or less contained but Dumpster Bay is perpetually overflowing. The cops are at a serious disadvantage here and they are outnumbered. And those gangs know this area is a jackpot for business. It would be interesting to know how many cops here are burned out and on sick leave at any given time.
