Brodie Street Trap House Bust: Cocaine and Fentanyl

(THUNDER BAY, ON) – Two suspected gang members from the Toronto-area were arrested and charged following the seizure of suspected cocaine and Fentanyl early Friday morning.

Thunder Bay Police Service officers were dispatched to a residential address in the 300 block of Brodie Street South just after 1:30 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 21 to check on the welfare of an individual.

When officers arrived they eventually located the individual and were able to confirm their safety. However, officers learned of suspected drug trafficking activity at the residence.

Further investigation led police to locate a quantity of suspected cocaine and paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking.

Two occupants of the apartment were arrested without incident, and during the arrest officers located a quantity of Canadian currency and a quantity of suspected heroin, crack cocaine and Fentanyl.

A quantity of pills was also located and seized.

Later on in the morning, two people were found overdosing and were sent to the hospital by ambulance.

Mohamed Mohamed MUSSE, 19, of Toronto is charged with:

  • Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking x 2
  • Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking x 2
  • Possession of a Schedule 4 Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000

Jurell Austin SWINDELL, 19, of Toronto is charged with:

  • Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking x 2
  • Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking x 2
  • Possession of a Schedule 4 Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000

Both appeared in bail court on Friday and were remanded into custody with future appearance dates.

      How about shipping the lowlife scum off to other facilities within the province or elsewhere? How about setting up temporary facilities to house these chronic criminals? How about forced labour camps to teach these parasites how to work for a living?
