Brent St Drug Bust Update

(THUNDER BAY, ON) – The Thunder Bay Police Service’s Intelligence and K9 Units have located more narcotics and cash linked to an investigation that focused on a Brent Street home.

Police arrested six people after executing search warrant at a home in the zero-to-100 block of Brent Street at about 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30.

In addition to the six arrests, police located and seized more than $10,000 in Canadian currency, cocaine, crack cocaine and a substance believed to be fentanyl.

The cocaine seized had an estimated street value of $9,600, the crack cocaine an estimated street value of $7,000, and the fentanyl an estimated street value of $56,000.

The ongoing investigation also identified a vehicle, which was searched with assistance from the Thunder Bay Police Service’s K9 Unit on Friday, Nov. 1.

As a result of this search police seized an additional $26,000 CAD and a quantity of cocaine with an estimated street value of more than $61,000.

The investigation remains ongoing.
