(BRAMPTON, ON) – Investigators from the Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau of the Peel Regional Police are investigating two homicides that occurred in the City of Brampton.
On Wednesday, November 6, 2019, at approximately 10:55 p.m., Peel Regional Police responded to a medical assist call at a residence on Hiberton Crescent in the City of Brampton.
Upon arrival, a 12-year-old boy and a 9-year-old boy were located deceased within the residence. It is believed that the boys were suffocated. The father has been arrested and the mother is being questioned. Charges are pending.
Autopsies are ongoing to confirm the cause of death.
The investigation into the circumstances of what transpired within the residence is ongoing by investigators from the Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau.
This has been determined to be an isolated incident with no threat to the community.
