(CALGARY, AB) – A tweet made within the last hour has levied threats against Calgary area schools.
The tweet says that tomorrow the suspect will “unload clips of my CZ Shadow 2 onto unsuspecting children.”.
Further, the tweet which has a photo of a gun attached says “ISIS has inspired me to do this and I love watching ISIS videos on my laptop and I have read manuals”
“I can’t wait to meet Allah” the tweet ends.
The Twitter handle @khokhar_rakib has made a number of tweets, threatening shootings.
In a separate tweet, the account says “I am going to shoot up schools in @yyCBEdu all muslims stay away”.
A third tweet says “I will be destroying the schooling infrastructure in Calgary tomorrow. I have 2 weapons tis 9×39 and a CZ Shadow 2 and I promise I will kill as many as possible for #ISIS and #ALLAH”.
Police are investigating this incident.

School Threats Made Online
On Nov. 28, 2019 at 2:44 p.m. the Calgary Police Service became aware of several threatening messages posted to social media in relation to school shootings in the Calgary area.
This is currently under investigation but is believed to be a “swatting” incident. Investigators from our Cyber Crime Team have confirmed that the account in question was not created locally.
As this investigation remains ongoing, no further information can be provided at this time.

There is no credible threat to any Calgary area schools tomorrow.
Investigators have determined this incident was a hoax designed to fuel fear within our community, while spoofing the identity of an unsuspecting Calgarian.
